Ultra Violet Clarifers (UVC's)
An Ultra Violet Clarifier is a must if you want to remove green algae from your pond water. The correct filter will ensure that the water is healthy for your fish by removing ammonia and nitrites but without a UVC the algae will pass straight through. The UVC should be fitted before the filter. The lamp should be changed every six months to ensure maximum efficiency.

Oase Bitron C Ultra Violet Clarifiers
The OASE Bitron C range of high specification UVCs are made to the highest standards and carry a two year guarantee (excluding bulbs). Special features include self cleaning to ensure maximum efficiency as well as built -in magnets to reduce limescale deposits. These UVCs are fitted with a throttle valve to regulate the flow past the lamp, this ensures maximum exposure time. Bulbs can be easily chaged without the need for tools. All supplied with hosetails and 5 metres of cable.
